I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with over 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology and went on to complete a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University. I am a National Board Certified Counselor and hold the Student Assistance Counselor certification, which allows me to provide specialized services within schools.
Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of concerns, including grief, anxiety, depression, abuse, crisis, conflict, behavioral issues, substance use, and trauma. I have led groups for children and adolescents, including intensive outpatient substance use programs, coping skills groups, and social-emotional skill-building programs.
In recent years, my focus has shifted more deeply toward helping clients heal from trauma. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful approach that helps individuals process painful experiences and build resilience. My style is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based — I believe every person has the inner strength to heal, grow, and create a life that feels more whole and fulfilling.
At Inner Strength Counseling Center, my goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward lasting change.
